Knowing Someone With Autism

With the rising incidence of autism around the world, it is not surprising to know a child with autism. As part of building an inclusive society, we need to let their siblings and classmates understand their condition. One of the publications by OASSIS can help us in this endeavor. OAASIS is part of Cambian Education Services, one of the largest providers of independent residential special schools and colleges in the UK.

Our illustrated booklet Do You Know Someone with Autism? is for reading with a sibling or classmate of a child who has autism. It explains in a child friendly manner how autistic children feel, behave, react, the problems they encounter but also the positive side of autism. Written by teaching staff at Cambian Education.
