FDA Revised Label and Updated Medication Guide for Concerta
More often than not, children who have been diagnosed to have AD/HD are being prescribed to take medications. We do not have the statistics here in the Philippines, but a recent news article in NSW, Australia --- Alarming rise in AD/HD doses has medicos worried --- indicates a surge in the number of prescriptions.
Knowing updated information is vital in order to make sound medical decisions. In June 2008, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) released the updated medication guide for CONCERTA, a popular stimulant medication. It is concise yet comprehensive in answering questions such as "What is the most important information I should know about CONCERTA?"
